Job summary

Penn State Health is seeking a certified chaplain to minister to the spiritual, psychological and emotional needs of patients, families and staff. Working within multidisciplinary teams, you will support healing of the whole person across hospital settings.

The role requires ordination or commissioning, board certification eligibility, and a Master’s degree in Divinity or related field. You will provide crisis support, end-of-life care, and spiritual counseling as part of the care team.

Education

Master’s degree in Divinity or related field

Board-certification (APC, NACC, NAJC or equivalent) or eligible for board certification

Ordained, Licensed, or Commissioned by recognized denomination
