Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Staff Chaplain to serve as a professional spiritual care provider within our interdisciplinary team at the Florence Hospital location. The chaplain offers pastoral presence, spiritual assessments, interventions, and grief support to patients, families, and associates, respecting diverse beliefs.

This 2nd shift role runs 2:30 p.m.–11 p.m., Monday–Friday, with system-wide coverage across the St. Elizabeth Healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• One unit of CPE or equivalent.
• Agreement to St. Elizabeth Spiritual Care Standards and Code of Ethics for SpiritualCare Professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual care visits and assessments to patients and families.
• Document pastoral visits, interventions and outcomes in EMR.
• Lead and coordinate group prayer experiences and associate care interventions.
• Support Mission Services' strategic initiatives and education activities.
