Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Staff Product Manager for Bare Metal to own the strategy and outcomes of a brand-new initiative. You will define the problem space across hardware and software, spanning compute, networking, observability, and management, while collaborating with senior leaders to resolve ambiguity.

You will own the end-to-end customer experience, drive provisioning and lifecycle features, and partner with Infrastructure Operations and Customer Support to ensure reliable delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud and computing technology, including 4+ years in product management focused on infrastructure or platform products.
• Direct hardware and firmware experience, able to discuss hardware layers without being an engineer.
• Ability to design and formalize operational processes for a technical product.
• Deep knowledge of server hardware, bare metal provisioning, distributed systems, networking and large-scale fleet operations.
• Strategic decision making to balance technical constraints with business outcomes.
• Excellent communication to convey technical complexity to executives and align product direction with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Roadmap Ownership: drive vision for bare metal compute (GPU/CPU offerings, provisioning systems, lifecycle management).
• Process & Operational Design: define end-to-end customer experience for incident handling and support workflows.
• Outcome Management: ensure alignment between hardware and software layers for a differentiated offering.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: lead initiatives across engineering and infra-ops for provisioning and observability.
• Customer & Market Synthesis: partner with Sales/GTM to translate feedback into roadmap priorities.
• Executive Representation: present bare metal strategy to partners and executives with clear business framing.
