Matchmatch is seeking a backend engineer to own the creation, design, and maintenance of the backend platform in a fast-paced startup environment. You will guide technical architecture to ensure business success with minimal debt while delivering delightful user experiences.

As a senior member, you will lead technical decisions, collaborate with engineers and stakeholders, and drive key features across services, data jobs, AI systems, search, and workflows in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Expertise in API design, data modeling, infrastructure, and workflow management.
• Comfortable leading technical decisions and working with stakeholders on small teams.
