• 10+ years of backend engineering experience at IC6/staff level or equivalent.
• Led large-scale distributed systems with high availability and performance.
• Interest in prediction markets, sports betting, or trading platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap for Prediction Markets backend systems.
• Design scalable, low-latency services supporting real-time trading and event resolution.
• Drive engineering excellence: code quality, observability, resilience.
• Collaborate with product, platform, and other engineering teams on direction.
• Mentor engineers, raise the technical bar, foster ownership.
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and shaping engineering culture.
