Veryable, a Dallas-based platform transforming manufacturing, is seeking a mid-level Backend Software Engineer to join the Product Engineering team. You will build robust services, APIs, and distributed systems to power our web and mobile apps.

The role emphasizes owning features end-to-end, delivering high-quality code with TDD and automated tests, handling on-call incidents, and mentoring junior engineers. A Bachelor’s degree in CS and 6+ years of relational DB experience are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• 6+ years with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Strong RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Build robust services and APIs for web and mobile apps.
• Own end-to-end development of roadmap features: design, development, testing, release, post-release support.
• Mentor junior engineers and perform code reviews to maintain quality.
• Promote high-quality code and maintainability with Test-Driven Development and automated tests.
• Handle on-call incidents and contribute to postmortems.
