Alpha Associates Recruitment in New York City is seeking a Member of Technical Staff – AI Healthcare to help build the AI-native EHR platform. The role offers substantial ownership and the chance to influence product direction from day one.

You will work directly with the CEO, CTO and CMO, shipping backend systems and experimenting with cutting-edge AI in a high-ownership startup environment in Manhattan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong backend fundamentals and system design.
• Experience in startup environments with high ownership.
• Demonstrated ability to identify user needs without PM guidance.
• Motivation to improve healthcare through technology.

Responsibilities

• Build core backend systems for an AI-native EHR and clinical OS.
• Own product decisions end-to-end from problem to shipping solutions.
• Collaborate with CEO, CTO and CMO to influence product direction.
• Experiment with cutting-edge AI and take ideas from research to production.
• Solve complex scalability and onboarding challenges across infrastructure and product use.
