Job summary

Rnb Consultancy, a New York-based early-stage healthcare AI startup, is hiring two founding engineers to build an AI-native outpatient clinic platform from the ground up. You will own backend systems and drive product decisions with the CEO, CTO, and CMO, skipping traditional PM-driven ticketing.

Applicants should have 2–7 years of backend experience, a strong CS/EECS background, and daily use of AI tools. This is an on-site role in Manhattan with a 9-9-6 schedule and limited sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Strong backend experience, especially building new or scaling early-stage systems.
• Genuine product and UX instinct; no PM to hand you tickets.
• Daily use of AI tools to build and ship.
• Strong CS/EECS foundation preferred; what you built counts.

Responsibilities

• Own core backend systems of the platform, AI-native from ground up.
• Make product decisions by talking to users and shipping features without ticket handoffs.
• Address technical debt and onboarding to keep sales moving.
• Experiment with applied AI at startup speed and ship quickly.
• Collaborate daily with CEO, CTO and CMO.
