IntelliPro is seeking a Staff Software Engineer - Agentic AI/Multi-Agent System in Palo Alto to drive backend and infrastructure for AI-native products. This hybrid, full-time role offers ownership of scalable systems and direct product impact.

You will design and implement backend services, collaborate with AI research and product teams, and scale cloud infrastructure while balancing cost and performance in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend or software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern backend development.
• Experience building scalable backend systems, APIs, cloud services, or distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and modern platform architectures.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to operate with high ownership and ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Architect distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and internal platform capabilities.
• Build automation systems, developer tooling, and backend infrastructure to improve engineering productivity.
• Optimize system reliability, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency across backend services.
• Collaborate closely with product, AI research, infrastructure, and frontend teams to rapidly ship new features and capabilities.
• Support AI-related infrastructure, model integration workflows, and multi-service platform architecture.
• Contribute across a broad range of technical initiatives depending on business and product priorities.
