Cube, the financial intelligence platform, is seeking a Staff Back-End Engineer to shape architecture and build scalable distributed systems. You will own core backend initiatives, partner with product, data, and customer success, and set engineering standards across teams.

This is a full-time onsite role in New York, reporting to an Engineering Manager. You will advance AI-assisted workflows, multi-tenant patterns, and high-scale data processing while mentoring engineers and driving reliability.

Competenze

• Strong backend leadership with architectural influence and ownership.
• Deep Django & Python expertise in high-scale, multi-tenant environments.
• Experience designing distributed systems across cloud infrastructure.
• Data-focused with Pandas/Polars/NumPy for finance workflows.
• Proven engineering leadership to raise developer velocity and tooling.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering workflows and high reliability.

Mansioni

• Define architectural direction and establish golden engineering patterns.
• Own core backend systems including multi-tenant routing and async pipelines.
• Lead adoption of AI-assisted development within production.
• Ship strategic backend initiatives from infrastructure to monitoring.
