This role emphasizes collaboration with Product, Frontend, and Infrastructure teams to accelerate secure software delivery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership across multiple teams or broad product areas.
• Extensive backend architecture and production experience.
• Experience modernizing monoliths toward modular architectures.
• Ability to balance customer outcomes with delivery speed and health.
• Mentor engineers and shape technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead large backend initiatives spanning multiple teams.
• Drive modular architecture and platform standards.
• Define APIs, contracts, testing, security, and deployment practices.
• Establish shared patterns for data ownership and eventing.
• Participate in on-call and drive post-incident improvements.
• Advise on AI adoption and guardrails for safe use.
