Ideal candidates hold a BA/BS in Accounting, CPA exam eligibility (or plan to sit), and 1+ year of public accounting experience with strong GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, GAS and GAGAS is valuable.
• CPA exam eligibility or plan to sit is required or desirable.
• 1+ years of public accounting experience preferred, including governmental/non-profit audits.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; audit software experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out quality and other assurance services for clients in various industries.
• Demonstrate solid understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and technology implementation.
• Identify and communicate audit issues and opportunities to resolve client concerns.
• Perform other accounting, auditing, and consulting duties as assigned.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through professional conduct.
