The North Carolina Office of the State Auditor (OSA) is seeking an Assistant State Auditor II (NS) to join a team auditing a diverse range of programs. You will plan and complete audits, speak with auditees, agency management, and legislators, and document findings with recommendations.
This role requires 3 years of auditing/accounting experience or an equivalent combination, a bachelor’s degree with accounting hours, and strong report writing and communication skills.

Salary Range: $75,000- $85,000
The Office of the State Auditor uses the Merit-Based Recruitment & Selection Plan to fill positions subject to the State Human Resources Act (SHRA) with highly qualified individuals.
