Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Las Vegas is seeking a Staff Auditor I to assist in planning and executing compliance and operational audits across Caesars properties. You will work under the Manager of Internal Audit and help document controls and assess regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in accounting, finance, hotel administration, or related field; CPA/CIA/CMA preferred.
  • Must be 21+ and eligible for gaming licensing in Nevada; travel ~25% to other locations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to interact with management at all levels.
  • Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in performing compliance and operational audits at Caesars properties, based in Las Vegas.
  • Assist in evaluating adequacy and effectiveness of controls.
  • Assess regulatory compliance.
  • Document business processes and controls per department standards.
  • Collaborate with property mid-management and staff.
  • Present audit results verbally and in writing to management.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in performing compliance and operational audits of business operations at various Caesars properties, based in Las Vegas.
  • Assist in examining and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of controls.
  • Assess compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and document business processes and controls in accordance with established department standards.
  • Contribute to a strong relationship with property mid-management and staff.
  • Assist in presenting verbal and written results of audit activities with various levels of management and staff
Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be eligible for occupational (gaming) licensing in various gaming jurisdictions, primarily in Nevada, with the ability to travel to other locations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to comfortably communicate to all levels of management.
  • Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles/standards, and familiarity with various computer systems and applications, including Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in a changing environment.
  • Must always conduct themselves in a positive, credible, ethical manner
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Periodic travel of approximately 25% may be required.
  • Must be eligible for occupational (gaming) licensing in various gaming jurisdictions, primarily in Nevada, with the ability to travel to other locations.
Additional Requirements
  • BS/BA degree in accounting, finance, hotel administration, or in any business-related field from an accredited college or university, or any other four-year degree with CPA, CIA, CFE or CMA certification, preferred.
  • Periodic travel of approximately 25% may be required.
