Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Staff Auditor to support state government audit engagements. Immediate start with travel to client sites in the DMV area, Monday-Thursday onsite and Friday remote.

The role emphasizes conducting audit testing, reviewing records, and reporting findings with strong attention to documentation and communication. Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of audit experience, with hands-on government audits required and familiarity with GAGAS/Yellow Book preferred.

This is an immediate hire opportunity with expectations to start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Accurately track and report billable hours
• Travel to assigned client sites Monday-Thursday
