San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program (SDVLP) is seeking a full-time Staff Attorney for the Microbusiness and Nonprofit Support Program (MNSP) to advise small businesses and nonprofits in transactional matters, recruit pro bono attorneys, and collaborate with the Pro Bono team.

The role includes mentoring pro bono volunteers, developing training materials, coordinating clinics with community partners, supervising non-attorney staff, and supporting grant reporting.

Formación

• Must be a member in good standing of the California Bar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent mentorship and teaching skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work independently with accuracy and follow-through.
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Experience coordinating with partners and community organizations.
• Grant reporting and data management experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Mentoring, training, and supervising pro bono attorneys.
• Recruiting new pro bono attorney volunteers through community outreach and events.
• Developing and maintaining training materials for pro bono attorneys.
• Coordinating clinics with community partners to assist low-income entrepreneurs and nonprofits.
• Training and supervising non-attorney staff.
• Managing and compiling data for narrative reports to funding sources and grant deliverables.
• Engaging in other tasks to further SDVLP's mission.
