Job summary

Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project, a program of Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc., seeks a Staff Attorney to provide self-help immigration services and legal orientations to adults and families, including those facing housing insecurity. • Juris Doctorate required.
• Active bar admission or awaiting results; CA bar preferred.
• Experience in legal settings, immigration or public interest law preferred.
• Strong organizational, case management, legal research and writing skills.
• Spanish language proficiency required and tested at interview.
• Team player with collaboration mindset; passion for social justice.

Responsibilities

• Provide self-help immigration services and legal orientations.
• Handle intake and follow-up for adults and families.
