Job summary

Platte Valley Bank is seeking an Administrative Support professional to assist the loan department. You will handle loan documentation, payments, and maintenance, ensuring files are accurate on Synergy and in the physical file.

Responsibilities include preparing documents, updating records, and communicating with officers and clients. The role requires 3-5 years in lending support, a high school diploma, and strong typing (70 wpm) with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Keyboarding and computer skills required. Typing speed of 70 wpm. Software skills such as Word, Excel, Outlook.

  • Prepare and verify loan documents. Review loan specifics to determine documents to be used.
  • Post new loans on SilverLake and run GL tickets.
  • Maintain and update loan records on SilverLake, Synergy and in the file.
  • Process payments and disbursements in accordance with loan requirements and policies.
  • Review credit files to update UCC/EFS filings and status reporting.
  • Research and resolve problems and discrepancies; assist loan officers and customers.
  • Review prior days input and reports to ensure corrections are completed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:

Provide support services to the loan department, loan documentation preparation, payments and maintenance processing. Handle legal documentation, titles, UCC, and other miscellaneous items associated with the loan area. Insure that loan files are updated and maintained on Synergy and in the physical loan file.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Provides administrative support to Lending Officers.
  • Answer, respond, and direct calls and/or emails promptly and professionally. Take messages as needed. Greet clients and prospective clients extending courtesy, kindness and genuine interest.
  • Prepare and verify loan documents. Review loan specifics to determine documents to be used.
  • Post new loans on SilverLake and run the corresponding GL tickets.
  • Maintains and updates loan records on SilverLake, Synergy and in the file.
  • Process payments and disbursements. Compare and verify loan payments and disbursements to loan requirements. Review policy guidelines for conformance to standards, notify supervisor of discrepancies.
  • Ongoing review of Credit Files to update UCC/EFS filings and maintain status reporting of pending documentation.
  • Research and resolve problems and discrepancies. Process corrective action, assist loan officers and customers by researching and responding to inquiries. Maintain and balance monthly reports.
  • Reviewing previous days loan input and reports making sure corrections are completed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience and support in lending area.
  • Educational background in accounting or equivalent obtained through practical experience.
  • Must possess administrative and organizational skills.
  • Must have the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Must be assertive and possess excellent decision-making abilities.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills (including telephone).
  • Self-sufficient / self-starting.

  • Demonstrated record of achievement in social and/or extracurricular and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated aptitude to handle sensitive operational transactions and customer relationships.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Must be capable of working with and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Physical Requirements:

Light Work - exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Reaching, fingering, grasping, repetitive motions, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, climbing, kneeling, talking, hearing, pulling, pushing, thinking, concentrating and interacting with others.
