  • Prepare administrative reports, documents, and correspondence using office software.
  • Type and submit personnel forms timely and accurately.
  • Prepare mileage vouchers for Family Safety staff.
  • Maintain all files and records; monitor supplies and ordering.
  • Date stamp and distribute incoming mail; attend staff meetings and training.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Salary: $1,336.92 Bi-weekly / $34,760.00 Annually

Organized professional individual with a background in clerical and administrative support duties. Provides clerical support for Family Safety Units. This employee functions on an independent level while performing a variety of duties, which require initiative and sound judgement.

  • 2years of secretarial or clerical work experience.
  • College education from an accredited institution or vocational/technical training can substitute at the rate of 30 semester, 45 quarter or 720 classroom hours for each year of the required experience.
  • A high school diploma or its equivalent can substitute for one year of the required work experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Program Administrator, Senior Management Analyst Supervisor, Operations Management, and other administrative support staff.
  • Meets the public as receptionist, in person and on the telephone. Maintains a current working knowledge of the Department of Children and Families and community resources to screen and route clients and answer questions or complaints.
  • Responsible for operating a personal computer and other office equipment utilizing various software programs in the preparation of administrative reports, documents, and correspondence.
  • Type and submit personnel forms timely and accurately.
  • Responsible for preparing mileage vouchers for Family Safety staff.
  • Maintains all files and records of office correspondence, documents, reports, and other materials.
  • Monitors supplies and maintains advanced ordering to ensure a constant supply of forms, documents, materials, and supplies.
  • Responsible for date stamping and timely distribution of incoming mail.
  • Attends all necessary staff meetings and job-related training.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
