Addepar is seeking a Staff Applied AI Engineer to lead AI engineering across client-focused initiatives. You will set direction for agent architectures, evaluation, and production readiness, partnering with core teams to scale AI capabilities for clients worldwide.

You will collaborate directly with clients on complex engagements, design AI solutions for novel workflows, and mentor engineers while helping shape the product roadmap based on client insights.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with AI/LLM-powered systems in production.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing collaboration.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or a quantitative field, or equivalent experience.

Aufgaben

• Set the technical direction for AI engineering across the team: agent architectures, evaluation methodology, deployment and monitoring.
• Design the AI platform layer, including shared agent frameworks, tool integrations, and evaluation infrastructure.
• Work directly with clients on the most complex engagements: identify domains, design AI capabilities for workflows not yet automated, ensure production quality.
• Mentor and grow AI and full-stack engineers, shaping the product roadmap from client learnings.
