Antora Energy is hiring a Staff Applications Engineer to build the applications engineering function and serve as the technical bridge between our product platform and commercial projects. You will configure thermal battery systems for industrial heat, CH&P, and data-center/grid applications in the US and internationally, owning solutions from discovery to LOIs.

You'll size, layout, and interconnect the system, produce site concepts, and craft performance guarantees and cost estimates.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 12+ years of relevant experience.
Experience leading complex technical engagements for industrial energy projects.
Familiar with AI tools and data-driven design approaches.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical lead for opportunities across industrial heat, CH&P, and power applications.
Perform technical discovery, analyze data requests, and develop site concepts.
Size and configure products for multiple sites while balancing cost and performance.
Create conceptual layouts, heat integration designs, and interface with interconnection teams.
Develop proposal analyses and cost estimates to support LOIs and term sheets.
Support RFP/RFI responses and address customer technical objections.
Prepare basis-of-design handoffs for FEED and beyond.
Scale the team with automation tools and mentor engineers.
Travel ~25%, including international trips when needed.
