Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Staff Product Applications Engineer to help customers evaluate, integrate, and optimize inertial sensing and navigation technologies.

You will work with field teams and customers to translate requirements into product and tool developments, guiding complex design-in efforts. The role combines sensor-performance insight with system-level behavior, requiring collaboration across engineering, marketing, and support teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• 5+ years in product applications, systems engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, logic analyzers, and lab equipment.
• Strong understanding of inertial sensors and system-level performance tradeoffs.
• Proficiency in data analysis, modeling, or embedded development with MATLAB, Python, or C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through product discovery, evaluation, integration, and optimization of inertial sensing and navigation solutions.
• Develop and maintain product data sheets, application notes, reference designs, and evaluation platforms.
• Lead lab analysis and system-level characterization of IMUs and navigation solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve hardware, software, and system-integration issues.
• Translate customer use cases into actionable product requirements and demonstrations.
• Lead customer demonstrations, design reviews, and knowledge transfer to field teams.
