Job summary

oneNav, Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Applications Engineer to join our technical team in a full-time role. The ideal candidate will bring a strong RF and GNSS background, enjoy collaborating with customers, and provide valuable feedback to our development teams.

The position requires substantial hands-on experience with system testing, integration, and customer-facing demonstrations in a fast-paced startup setting. Occasional travel for pre- and post-sales activities is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in customer engineering or field applications engineering with a BSEE.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Hands-on lab work, system testing and debugging experience.
• Willingness to travel as required for pre-sales and post-sales activities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical interface for customers and manage product integrations with clear communication.
• Apply RF and GNSS expertise to diagnose issues and optimize system performance, on-site or remotely.
• Partner with business development to demonstrate products and pitch technical solutions.
• Assist customers with installation, integration, and testing in their environments.
• Create training materials and maintain Knowledge Base for customer needs and internal docs.
• Manage projects to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes and report progress.
• Build, test and debug EVKs in the lab and track related inventory.
• Provide periodic reporting of customer activities and feedback to R&D and product teams.
• Relay client feedback and performance data to internal teams.
