Job summary

Apollo.io is seeking a Staff Application Security Engineer to lead the AppSec strategy across product, platform, and AI-powered features. You will shape roadmaps, set secure design and review standards, and mentor senior engineers to build secure systems at scale.

You will work across Engineering, Product, and Platform teams to embed secure patterns by default, drive risk-based decisions, and help the company advance its AI-enabled security posture.

Qualifications

• Experience leading AppSec strategy with measurable impact across multiple teams.
• Proven ability to review code, perform pentests, and fix design flaws.
• Strong Linux/cloud fundamentals and secure architecture patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-year AppSec strategy and translate it into cross-team initiatives.
• Shape roadmaps with security considerations in engineering, product, and data.
• Define secure-by-default patterns and risk models for AI-powered features.
• Mentor engineers and grow a security champions program.
