Apollo.io seeks a Senior Application Security Engineer to strengthen its secure SDLC and reduce product risk across SaaS features, including AI-powered components. You will own security reviews, threat modeling, and remediation work while partnering with engineering and product teams to embed secure design at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering or application security experience.
• Strong code-review and vulnerability remediation capabilities.
• Experience with bug bounty or penetration testing activities.
• Experience securing AI-powered systems and features.
• Familiarity with OAuth, CSRF, and access-control patterns.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the secure software development lifecycle for Apollo applications.
• Perform application security reviews, threat modeling, and deep code-level analysis before launch.
• Provide practical security architecture guidance to Engineering, Product, and IT teams.
• Drive vulnerability management across reviews, bug bounty, pen tests, and runtime findings with SLAs.
• Lead or support hands-on validation and exploit-oriented testing to verify remediations.
• Partner on AI security requirements and controls for AI-powered features.
