Apollo.io is the leading go-to-market platform trusted by thousands of teams worldwide. The Senior Application Security Engineer will strengthen Apollo's secure SDLC, perform threat modeling, reviews, and vulnerability remediation across product, platform, and AI features.

This senior IC will own security guardrails, drive cross-teams collaboration, and enable engineering with secure patterns, tooling, and AI-enabled security checks while shaping risk-based decisions and sprint-ready security

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering or application security experience in SaaS environments.
• Deep code review and exploit-oriented validation experience.
• Experience with bug bounty, pentests, or automated security tooling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own secure SDLC for Apollo apps; embed security into design, implementation, and deployment.
• Perform application security reviews, threat modeling, and deep code analysis for high-impact features.
• Provide security architecture guidance to Engineering, Product, and IT teams; define guardrails and risk models.
• Lead remediation with root-cause analysis and tie back to metrics and SLAs.
• Collaborate on AI security requirements and controls to ensure secure AI-powered features.
