System One seeks a Staff Application Software Engineer to design and implement complex software for robotic-assisted surgery products. The role requires a bachelor's in software engineering or CS and 4+ years' experience, with C++, Qt/QML, Linux, and Docker skills. Hybrid work with on-site and remote days in Weston, FL.

Responsibilities include understanding the architecture, developing components, and ensuring SDLC compliance with Agile practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science or related discipline and 4+ years of work experience.
• Experience with C++ in production environments and object-oriented programming.
• Prior contractor or consulting experience preferred.
• Experience with Qt/QML, Linux, and Docker.

Responsabilidades

• Understand existing architecture, codebase, and workflows quickly.
• Independently design and develop application software components per requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Management and engineers to ensure project success.
• Follow SDLC procedures including code reviews, tests, and defect management.
• Document software engineering processes per R&D Quality Management System.
• Communicate progress, risks, and technical decisions clearly.
