Reddit, Inc. is seeking a Staff Android Engineer to lead the technical strategy for Video Ads and reddit-unique Android formats. You will guide design, architecture, and performance, delivering high-quality, scalable solutions for millions of users.

You will mentor engineers across teams, define best practices, and help drive end-to-end development from ideation to deployment in a remote-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience at staff level.
• Deep expertise in Kotlin and modern Android architecture.
• Experience in Ad Tech with interactive mobile experiences.
• Proven track record delivering user-facing features with UI polish.
• Ability to design data-intensive, fault-tolerant client-side systems.
• Experience leveraging GenAI tools to boost productivity.
• Fluency with product metrics and running experiments (BigQuery, Firebase).
• Willingness to work across the stack and explore AI/ML approaches.
• Self-directed, innovative, action-oriented with customer focus.
• Excellent communicator; able to work with diverse audiences.
