Job summary

Accordion’s Data & Analytics team seeks engineers to build agentic AI solutions, lead multi-agent orchestration, and advance PE-backed portfolio projects. You’ll work hands-on with CFOs and PE operators, shipping production-grade systems and setting reusable patterns.

The role demands technical depth, rapid delivery, and mentorship across the lab. Travel to client sites may be required as part of engagements.

Qualifications

• Production agentic AI system ownership with real users/clients.
• Fluent in agentic architecture: multi-agent orchestration, RAG, tools, evaluation/observability.
• Strong Python and TypeScript/React fundamentals with good architectural judgment.
• Experience translating client asks into shipped systems under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Architect and ship the hardest agentic systems in the portfolio.
• Set technical standards and reusable patterns adopted across pods.
• Own build-vs-buy and architecture trade-offs, defend to stakeholders.
• Build observability/evaluation infra to ensure production AI quality.
• Mentor engineers through architecture reviews and deep LLM work.
• Travel to client sites to scope, present, and stand behind work.
• Represent AI Lab’s technical POV in cross-practice discussions (Senior Staff/Executive Director).
