Job summary

Accordion is seeking a highly technical software engineer for the AI Lab, focusing on agentic AI systems, multi-agent orchestration, and RAG pipelines. You will work with CFOs and PE operators to deliver production-grade AI solutions while shaping technical direction and patterns across pods.

The role blends hands-on coding with technical leadership, demanding deep Python/TS expertise and strong judgment in architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Production agentic AI system ownership with real users.
• Fluent in Python and TS/React with good judgment.
• Experience translating client asks into shipped systems under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Architect and ship the hardest agentic systems for PE-backed portfolio companies.
• Set technical standards and reusable patterns adopted across client engagements.
• Own build-vs-buy decisions and defend them to technical and non-technical audiences, including CFOs and PE operators.
• Build and evolve observability and evaluation infrastructure for production AI quality.
• Mentor engineers through architecture reviews and code reviews.
