Job summary

Ridgeline is building an AI Security & Platforms team to enable secure AI adoption at scale. As Staff AI Security Engineer, you will architect secure-by-default AI platforms, lead AI/LLM threat security, and partner with teams to embed security into how they build and use AI.

You will mentor engineers, establish guardrails for AI tooling, and shape security standards to reduce AI risk across the business. This is a high-impact role in a growing, people-first company.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in application security, cloud security, or security-focused software engineering.
• Strong depth in secure code review or cloud/infrastructure security.
• Advanced proficiency in at least one high-level language (Python preferred).
• Hands-on use of AI/LLM tooling to engineer systems and validate outputs.
• Experience securing AI/LLM-powered systems or rapid learning in new tech domains.
• Ability to drive architectural remediation and communicate security tradeoffs.
• Familiarity with cloud-native security at scale (AWS) and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Architect secure-by-default AI platforms and guardrails at scale.
• Lead AI/LLM threat security and embed security into product teams.
• Develop security guidance for AI features, pipelines, and tools.
• Mentor engineers and set standards for responsible AI use.
