CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Staff Data Engineer with deep expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI platforms to join our Data Science Platform Engineering Team.

You will design, build, and deploy cutting-edge data infrastructure powering our AI-driven security products at exabyte scale, staying at the forefront of toolchains and standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in CS, Data Engineering, or related STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of progressive Data/Platform Engineering experience, with 3+ years building AI/ML platforms at massive scale.
• Hands-on experience in LLM engineering, RAG, and agentic workflows.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale distributed systems with sharding and concurrency.
• Strong coding skills with a focus on performance, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience with secure code development and AI-enabled engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and optimize data platforms and pipelines for LLMs, Neural Networks, RAG, and AI agents at exabyte scale.
• Lead adoption of agentic workflows and harnessing techniques to create autonomous security features.
• Code and deliver scalable, fault-tolerant data solutions with rapid iteration.
• Ensure production‑ready code with performance and testing rigor.
• Provide leadership in data modeling, normalization, and semantic cataloging for AI/ML workloads.
• Establish MLOps/DataOps practices for LLMs, monitoring, observability, and zero‑touch recovery.
• Mentor engineers, run design reviews, and share knowledge on cutting‑edge AI platforms.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, PMs, and other teams to turn research into production services.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle of critical data services: development, testing, deployment, monitoring.
