Job summary

Bitdeer is seeking a Staff AI Observability & Telemetry Engineer to architect the nervous system of our NeoCloud platform. You will capture, store, and analyze millions of signals per second from GPU workloads and the network, enabling SREs and automated remediation to maintain performance.

You will define telemetry standards, build high-cardinality telemetry infra, integrate NVIDIA DCGM, IPMI/Redfish, and develop eBPF tools, dashboards, and real-time billing metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, EE, or related field.
• 6 years of software or SRE experience with Prometheus/OpenTelemetry.
• Proficiency in Go and writing custom Kubernetes metric exporters and operators.
• Experience with kernel tracing tools (eBPF, BCC) and Linux performance tuning.
• Familiarity with AI hardware metrics and high-performance network telemetry.
• Proven ability to operate and scale large telemetry stacks in HPC or cloud.
• Strong technical leadership and cross-functional influence.
• Excellent communication to translate requirements into milestones.
• Experience in high-velocity, high-growth environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale a high-cardinality telemetry infrastructure with time-series DBs.
• Integrate hardware exporters into Kubernetes observability stack.
• Develop eBPF-based diagnostic tools to trace network and IO bottlenecks.
• Build dashboards and alerts to cordon degraded hardware before impacting jobs.
• Design real-time multi-tenant GPU/network usage billing.
• Collaborate with GPU Systems and Scheduling for observability standards.
• Lead design reviews and mentor on telemetry collection and analysis.
