Job summary

Dragos, the global leader in xOT cybersecurity, is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to design and implement production ML systems within the Dragos platform. You will work with Data Engineers and product teams to build AI/ML capabilities that enhance threat detection and security analysis for ICS/OT environments.

This remote-first team collaborates across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and APAC to deliver scalable ML pipelines, containerized deployments (Kubernetes, Docker),

Qualifications

• 6+ years of engineering experience with at least 4 years focused on machine learning implementations in production environments.
• Strong software engineering foundation with proficiency in Python and SQL; knowledge of Go, Rust, Java, or JVM-family languages is a plus.
• Experience building and deploying ML systems using modern frameworks (scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace).
• Familiarity with MLOps practices: model versioning, monitoring, and deployment in high‑reliability environments.
• Experience with data pipelines, streaming, and working with medium‑to‑large datasets.
• Knowledge of containerized deployment solutions and cloud‑native architectures.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, or advanced NLP techniques is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement production-grade ML systems for Dragos products across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Develop ML architectures for ICS/OT use cases including threat detection and NLP applications.
• Build robust data pipelines and ML workflows with real-time and batch processing.
• Collaborate with OT detection experts to translate research into scalable ML systems.
• Establish data contracts and observability for ML pipelines including monitoring and deployment practices.
• Contribute to ML infrastructure improvements, including CI/CD for containerized deployments.
• Evaluate state‑of‑the‑art ML research for cybersecurity applications.
• Troubleshoot and optimize ML model performance in production.
