Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a Staff AI Engineer / Technical Lead with 7+ years of software experience to deliver production AI-powered applications. You will stay hands-on with coding while guiding technical direction in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, or C#/.NET, plus cloud experience (GCP/Azure/AWS), and the ability to design scalable distributed systems, APIs, and orchestration platforms, are essential. Prior staff/principal roles are preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on Generative AI / LLM application development.
• Experience with cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.
• Proven track record owning technical delivery, architecture, and product outcomes.
• Active user of AI development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Own technical delivery and architecture for AI-powered production applications.
• Lead design reviews and contribute hands-on coding.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable APIs and integrations.
