Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a Staff AI Engineer / Technical Lead with 7+ years of software experience to deliver production AI-powered applications. You will stay hands-on with coding while guiding technical direction in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, or C#/.NET, plus cloud experience (GCP/Azure/AWS), and the ability to design scalable distributed systems, APIs, and orchestration platforms, are essential. Prior staff/principal roles are preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on Generative AI / LLM application development.
• Experience with cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.
• Proven track record owning technical delivery, architecture, and product outcomes.

Seeking a Staff AI Engineer / Technical Lead with 7+ years of software engineering experience and proven success delivering production applications. This individual should have hands-on experience building AI-powered solutions utilizing LLMs, AI agents, RAG, prompt engineering, and tool-calling frameworks, while remaining actively involved in coding.

The ideal candidate brings expertise in TypeScript, Python, or C#/.NET, strong cloud architecture experience in GCP, Azure, or AWS, and the ability to design scalable distributed systems, APIs, integrations, and workflow orchestration platforms. Prior experience as a Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, Technical Lead, AI Engineer, or Solutions Architect is highly preferred.
