Job summary

Cerebras Systems seeks a Staff-level hands-on engineer to own solution architecture for enterprise AI. You will design end-to-end agentic solutions, build orchestration services and establish secure connections to key business systems, with a strong emphasis on security, compliance and scalable performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software, platform, integration, solution engineering or enterprise applications with hands-on production ownership.
• Strong Python and/or TypeScript skills; experience with APIs, MCP or comparable tool protocols, enterprise authentication and distributed-system design.
• Practical experience building production AI systems using agents, tool use, retrieval, structured outputs, evaluations and monitoring.
• Experience with leading LLM platforms and agent frameworks (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, etc.).
• Solid solution-architecture judgment across security, reliability, performance, cost, observability and supportability.
• Knowledge of enterprise Finance processes (GL, close, forecasting, procure-to-pay, etc.).
• Ability to communicate with engineers, Finance leaders, control owners, Security and executives.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AI solution architecture and determine use-case data source vs unified data model.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify high-value use cases and translate requirements into AI workflows.
• Create reusable architecture patterns for agents, tools, APIs, MCP servers, prompts, and human-review workflows.
• Produce solution designs, security flows, deployment patterns and technical standards.
• Build AI agents, orchestration services, enterprise applications and reusable platform components.
• Deliver workflows for finance, forecasting, billing, and compliance monitoring where AI adds value.
• Establish secure, read-only AI connections to approved business systems (e.g., NetSuite).
• Preserve source-system authentication, entitlements, rate limits and audit trails.
• Implement citations, deterministic checks, exception handling and safe action boundaries.
• Assess prototypes for value, architecture, security and control readiness; refactor into enterprise apps.
• Establish development, test and production environments, release pipelines, incident response and rollback controls.
• Evaluate models, frameworks and platforms; run proofs of concept with focus on security, scalability and cost.
• Create documentation, reference architectures and coach teams on agent design and safe operating boundaries.
• Establish feedback loops with users and process owners to guide iteration.
• Translate SOX and SSDLC requirements into architecture and controls; support audits and remediation.
