Job summary

Anthropic Limited is seeking a Staff Software Engineer on the GTM AI Engineering (Claudification) team to build autonomous agents and eval systems that support Anthropic's go-to-market efforts. You will own end-to-end workflows across inbound, outbound, pipeline management, and customer engagement, while shaping technical standards for agent development.

Qualifications

• Proficient Python or TypeScript with production-grade applications.
• LLM experience including context engineering, agent development, MCP development, tools, and eval frameworks.
• Experience using evals and transcript analysis to improve LLM behavior.
• SQL data fluency for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and ship without a fixed spec.
• Passion for safe, beneficial AI and user care.

Responsibilities

• Build autonomous agents that run go-to-market motions end to end.
• Design human oversight: approval gates, handoffs, escalation paths.
• Develop evaluation frameworks for agent behavior in development and production.
• Instrument model and tool calls in production with observability and ROI measurement.
• Ship MCP servers and web apps connecting to CRM and data warehouse.
• Set technical direction for agents across the team.
• Architect shared codebases for go-to-market builders.
• Collaborate with sellers to ground designs in real workflows.
• Identify repeatable patterns and share insights with Product and Engineering.
• Stay current with LLM advances, agent frameworks, and evaluation techniques.
