Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Staff Software Engineer on the GTM AI Engineering (Claudification) team to build agents and AI systems that run Anthropic's go-to-market work. You will take things to the next step and build agents that run autonomous motions across areas like inbound, outbound, and pipeline management.

In addition, you’ll build eval frameworks that prove those agents are ready for customer-facing work and are driving value.

Qualifications

• Strong Python or TypeScript programming skills with production experience.
• Production experience with LLMs including context engineering and agent development.
• Experience using evals and transcript analysis in LLM systems.
• Fluent data analysis with SQL.
• Ability to ship without a detailed spec and solve complex problems.
• Passion for safe, beneficial AI and user care.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate autonomous agents for go-to-market motions end to end.
• Design human oversight, approval gates, handoffs and escalation paths.
• Develop evaluation frameworks for agent behavior in development and production.
• Instrument model and tool calls, build observability tied to pipeline and revenue.
• Ship MCP servers, agent skills and web apps connecting to CRM and data warehouse.
• Set technical direction for agents and shared codebases across GTM.
• Collaborate with sellers, RevOps and platform engineering on production readiness.
• Ground agent designs in real workflows and iterate from observed outcomes.
• Stay updated on latest LLM capabilities and evaluation techniques.
