Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant – Costing & Inventory in LaPorte, IN onsite. This role offers exposure to manufacturing operations, costing, and inventory analysis, working closely with plant leadership and finance.

Ideal for an early-career accounting professional with a Bachelor’s degree and up to 3 years of experience, you will support month-end close, BOM maintenance, variances analysis, and inventory tracking in the ERP system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 0–3 years of accounting experience; manufacturing or inventory experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and data analysis.
• ERP system experience preferred; familiarity with inventory or costing modules is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory tracking, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Maintain and review BOMs and product costing within the ERP system.
• Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances and support reporting for plant leadership.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and inventory valuation.
