Job summary

CFS in Goshen, IN is seeking a Staff Accountant specialized in costing and inventory to strengthen our manufacturing finance team. You will collaborate with plant leadership and finance to ensure accurate costing and inventory control throughout the month.

The role offers exposure to BOM maintenance, cost variance analysis, and close processes within our ERP environment, with growing opportunities in operations and accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 0–3 years of accounting experience; manufacturing or inventory experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and data analysis.
• ERP system experience preferred; familiarity with inventory or costing modules is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory tracking, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments.
• Maintain and review BOMs and product costing within the ERP system.
• Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances and support reporting for plant leadership.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and inventory valuation.
