Novogradac & Company LLP seeks a Staff Accountant to join our Seattle area team. Under supervision, you’ll complete tax and audit engagements, research issues, prepare reports, and build strong client relationships.

The role supports professional growth and allows for remote or hybrid arrangements as needed. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with 0–3 years of public accounting or internal accounting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Public accounting experience or internal accounting experience preferred (1–3 years).
• CPA exam in progress or completed sections is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Proficient with MS Office; attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work under supervision and collaboratively in a team.

Responsabilités

• Complete tax and/or audit engagements for designated clients as directed by your Supervisor or Manager.
• Identify and communicate potential problem areas during engagements.
• Conduct business-specific research and prepare reports with recommendations to principals and partners.
• Develop client relationships through professionalism and follow-through.
• Attend to all duties and projects as assigned.
