Job summary

Nice Recovery Systems, a Boulder-based manufacturer of performance and recovery products, is seeking a Staff Accountant to handle a broad range of accounting tasks and ensure timely financial reporting in a fast-growing environment.

The role focuses on accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting the VP of Finance with close processes and reporting. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Proficiency in NetSuite and Bill.com is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Performance and oversight of all daily accounting activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, AR collections and analyzing financial transactions in compliance with US GAAP.
• Prepare monthly bank account and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and supporting documentation
• Ensure sales and use tax compliance and timely filing of returns.
• Update and file annual personal property tax declarations.
• Participate in the month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Partner with VP of Finance to support budget-to-actual variance analysis.
