Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and fundamentals.
• Experience with general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close.
• Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems (NetSuite/QuickBooks Online).
• Experience supporting audits, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, prepaid expenses, and recurring entries.
• Perform monthly bank, credit card, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for all accounting transactions.
• Manage accounts payable activities including invoice processing, coding, and vendor management.
• Assist with cash tracking and short-term cash flow reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial statements: income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Prepare account reconciliations, variance analyses, and supporting financial schedules.
• Provide accurate financial information to the CFO for business decisions.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Support annual audits, tax filings, and other external reporting.
• Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.
• Support CFO with ad hoc analyses, reporting, and special projects.
