Job summary

Lynx is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join the finance team in the United States. This role focuses on order entry, invoicing, revenue recognition, and cash collections, with opportunities to grow into sales tax and compliance reporting.

The candidate will collaborate with the Controller and Accounting Manager, improving processes across Lynx and its subsidiaries in government contracting and commercial sectors. Remote work options may be available based on role.

Qualifications

• Prior accounting and billing/invoicing experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent is required/preferred.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition rules for software and services models.
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with teams across offices.
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, and customer portals (Exostar) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Handle timely invoicing and purchase order processing for multiple entities.
• Support order-to-cash evaluation and optimization across business models.
• Perform month-end reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.
• Standardize procedures and drive process improvements in revenue accounting across entities.
• Assist with revenue recognition for four entities and related metrics.
• Support year-end audit process and interface with auditors.
• Assist with cost allocations and other close-related entries.
