Job summary

Highspring LLC (d/b/a Vaco by Highspring) is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its corporate accounting team in the Atlanta area. This role emphasizes a solid general ledger foundation and provides exposure across a growing multi-entity organization within a collaborative culture and a flexible hybrid schedule.

You will support monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and audits, while improving processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of corporate or public accounting experience.
• Strong general ledger and month-end close experience.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting practices.

We're partnering with a large, growing Atlanta-based organization seeking a strong Staff Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. What You'll Do

• Support the monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and adjusting entries
• Manage and review general ledger activity for accuracy and completeness
• Assist with financial reporting and investigate account fluctuations
• Support intercompany transactions and accounting across multiple entities
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits
• Partner with internal teams to resolve accounting issues
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiency
• Assist with special projects as the organization continues to grow

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of corporate or public accounting experience
• Strong general ledger and month-end close experience
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting practices
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP or accounting systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Professional communication skills and a collaborative approach
• CPA or active pursuit of CPA licensure highly preferred
• Multi-entity accounting experience is a plus
• Demonstrated job stability is required
• Must be currently based in the Atlanta area
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship

Compensation: $70,000-$85,000
