Job summary

Amp Americas is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. The role involves journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement analysis, reporting to the Controller and collaborating across finance, Asset Management, Legal, and Operations.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 2+ years of corporate accounting or audit experience, with a preference for experience across multiple subsidiaries and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 2+ years of work experience in corporate accounting or audit preferred.
• Experience with multiple subsidiary organizations preferred.
• Experience with accounting for capital projects preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals.
• Aptitude for solving problems independently and interest in renewable energy.

Responsibilities

• Record journal entries and perform monthly reconciliations for assigned subsidiaries.
• Assist with monthly close, balance sheet analysis, and financial statement review.
• Collaborate with Asset Managers to produce monthly RNG project reports (budget vs actual).
• Support optimization of accounting tools and participate in special projects.
