Job summary

The role will maintain accurate financial records, support AP/AR, manage reconciliations and payroll, and assist with month-end and year-end close.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel.
• Experience with payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work independently with U.S.-based stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation.
• Process and monitor accounts payable transactions.
• Manage accounts receivable and support collection activities.
• Perform balance sheet and bank account reconciliations.
• Prepare and review journal entries.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist with financial reporting and account analysis.
• Process and reconcile internal and external payroll.
• Maintain payroll records and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with tax filings and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Review financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Support cash flow and account-balance monitoring.
• Assist management with financial information and ad hoc reporting.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders regarding accounting and payroll matters.
• Ensure accounting processes comply with established company procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Recommend and implement automation or workflow improvements where appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll and financial information.
