Job summary

Soni Resources Group is seeking a Senior Accountant for Pulaski, TN to own close activities and commission accounting in a fast-growing, publicly traded environment.

Responsibilities include leading quarterly sales commission calculations, month-end close with journal entries and reconciliations, and supporting SEC reporting and audits. Advanced Excel and Oracle EBS experience are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar required.
• 3–6 years of accounting experience.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and SOX understanding.
• Experience with SEC reporting is a plus.

Location: Pulaski, TN

Soni's client, a fast-growing public company, is hiring a Senior Accountant to take ownership of close activities and commission accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Own quarterly sales commission calculations, reconciliations, and payouts
• Lead month-end close: journal entries, reconciliations, subledger upkeep, and SOX-compliant analyses
• Prepare and review invoices and memos tied to revenue adjustments
• Support SEC reporting deadlines and internal/external audits
• Find inefficiencies and drive automation and process improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Accounting or similar; 3–6 years of experience
• Strong US GAAP, SOX, and SEC reporting knowledge

Compensation:

$90,000 - $105,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
