Atrium in Florida is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its Corporate Accounting team. The role involves day-to-day accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations for a multi-entity real estate portfolio, with emphasis on property accounting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience in a Staff Accountant or similar accounting role.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs, and formulas.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Maintain the general ledger and support financial reporting.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze variances.
• Support fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules.
• Assist with audit preparation and external audit requests.
• Work cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure accurate financial information.
• Support process improvements and other accounting projects as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support the accounting team.
